In many cases, including tooth extractions, wisdom teeth and biopsies, we are able to perform the exam/consultation and surgery on the same day. Some exceptions that may require a separate consult visit are: if your insurance requires pre authorization, more extensive surgery such as implants and extraction of more than 6-8 teeth, or if you simply prefer a separate consult prior to surgery to discuss your procedure and obtain cost estimates.
We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Due to the fact Dr. Bobo provides many types of oral surgery services, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergency cases can also arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
