Dr. Bobo also diagnoses and treats lesions on the face and neck. New lesions of the face or neck skin as well as old lesions that have changed in color or shape should be inspected and possibly removed and sent for biopsy. When lesions on the face are removed, every effort is made to minimize scarring. Most of these procedures can be performed with local anesthesia. Patients also have the option of having IV sedation for removal of skin lesions. Dr. Bobo often utilizes the services of pathologists, dermatologists, Mohs surgeons, and head and neck cancer surgeons to provide comprehensive, definitive care for patients that are found to have cancerous lesions.
